A bounded in-memory realization of the shared checkpoint envelope. It is
suitable for a replicated state or an admitted shard, not a fleet gather.
Logical updates/invocations occupy explicit, distinct words in the hashed
payload. Header counters are checked against them before restore exposes any
state. No peer/file-provided extent controls allocation or pointer arithmetic.
